London Zoo

London Zoo opened its doors in 1828 very close to Regent’s Park and is considered the world’s oldest scientific zoo. The total area of 90 hectares is home to over 12,000 animals. The highlights of London Zoo include the Reptile House, the New Lion Terrace, the Chimpanzee House, the Small Mammal House and the Snowdon Aviary with its collection of birds, particularly exotic birds.
