  • Red Official Route

The RAF Bomber Command Memorial can be found in Green Park. The memorial pays homage to members of the RAF Bomber Command who fought in the Second World War. Although it is actually located physically in Green Park, it is very close to Piccadilly and to Hyde Park Corner. The RAF Bomber Command Memorial was inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth II in June 2012 with the ceremony being attended by 6,000 veterans and family members of those killed. The memorial features a bronze sculpture of seven aircrew from the RAF Bomber Command.
