Churchill War Rooms

The Churchill War Rooms is one of the five branches of the Imperial War Museum in London. The museum is made up of the Cabinet War Rooms, a historic underground complex which housed the British government’s command centre during the Second World War, and the Churchill Museum, a biographical Museum which explores the life of the British Prime Minister. At the start of the 1980s, the Imperial War Museum was put in charge of managing the building and the Churchill War Rooms was opened to the public in April 1984.
