Tate Modern

The Tate Modern is the British national museum for contemporary art and is located at the southernmost end of the Millennium Bridge. The permanent collection at the Tate Modern is considered one of the most comprehensive and important collections of contemporary art in the world. It features works from some of the most important artists of the 20th century such as Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Salvador Dalí and Mark Rothko, among others. One of the Tate Modern’s most noticeable features is that it is housed in the old site of the Bankside Power Station, after having been inaugurated in May 2000.
