The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is the UK’s public service radio, television and Internet. Its headquarters is Broadcasting House which was built in May 1932. Due to the consolidation of the BBC’s local and world services, Broadcasting House grew with the construction of a new wing in 2005 called the ‘John Peel Wing’. When it was first built, Broadcasting House had 22 radio studios, whereas it now has 10 more than that, as well as 16 TV studios.
