Paddington Station

Paddington Station

Paddington is one of London’s largest train and tube stations. The station is popular in British children’s literature because it is where Paddington Bear first got off the train when he arrived in London. The bear is the main character in writer Michael Bond’s book ‘A bear called Paddington’ who found inspiration in a soft toy bear that he had bought at the station as a Christmas present. Paddington Station is very close to attractions such as Hyde Park, Regent’s Canal and the Serpentine.
