Access to Hyde Park from the north is through the Lancaster Gate. Just by Hyde Park you’ll find Kensington Gardens, one of the royal parks of London. The Long Water, the Peter Pan statue, the Serpentine Galleries and the Italian Gardens are some of the highlights of the Kensington Gardens. Lancaster Gate is an area which has become much more built-up since the mid-19th century, but which still retains a lot of its historical charm. This route will take you to Paddington Station, one of London’s main train stations.
